Brig Gen Muhammad Shafiqul Islam, ndc (Retd) is a Bangladesh Army veteran and civil engineer with a distinguished career spanning military service, public administration and business. Commissioned in the Corps of Engineers in 1979 from the Bangladesh Military Academy, he went on to hold senior positions in academia, national survey administration, and urban development before transitioning into real estate business.

Brig Gen Md Nurul Islam, afwc, psc (Retd) is a Bangladesh Army veteran and civil engineer with 32 years of experience in military and civil engineering, both in Bangladesh and abroad. Commissioned into the Corps of Engineers in 1985 from the Bangladesh Military Academy, he built an extensive career spanning combat and staff engineering, infrastructure project management, and construction supervision, with particular expertise in project planning, quality assurance, procurement, and contract administration, before retiring in 2017.
